OWA - what does "Inbox; Inbox; Inbox" in message signify?

My work colleague sent me a mail, and below the datestamp of the message it says "Inbox; Inbox; Inbox".

The only recipient address in the To: field was mine - we're on the same server, neither account is external. The message wasn't CCed to anyone, although he could have used BCC (haven't asked).

Why does Inbox appear in triplicate?

Does it imply anything about the providence of the message? Maybe his account has delegate access?

Hi,

This section represented the location of the message in your OWA. I can see there are multiple emails with in this message.

I suggest that let your colleague send a brand new message to you, then check will the "Inbox; Inbox; Inbox" appear in this new message.

Best Regards.

Where are there multiple emails within this message? I don't understand your logic. It is the same behaviour, if I select the specific message in the thread (middle column).

The message is not in three (of my) inboxes. I have no rules that would duplicate the message. So what do the three words relate to?
